Managing your PathoNet account
Registering
Use the "Register" button and fill the Registry Form. The required fields are: Desired Username (can contain only letters and numbers), First Name, Last Name, E-mail address. After this you will give an e-mail message with your first password. After log in you could change your password. When You forget it, register again or send a message to: contactus@pathonet.org
Editing your personal data

Log in to PathoNet.

Select My account / Personal data.

Changing your password

Log in to PathoNet.

Select My account / Change password.

Enter the new password. Make sure your new password is safe enough. Your PathoNet password must be at least 6 characters long. It is recommended that you use a combination of numbers and uppercase/lowercase letters
Public/Private cases and slides
You can mark cases and slides as public, so they become accessible for the members of the community. Your public cases and slides are marked with Pub in green, the private ones are marked with Priv in red.

In My account / Edit slide data, select Public.
Managing your slides at PathoNet
Checking your disk quota

Select My account.
Your disk quota is always displayed at the top of your account page.

Uploading slides
To upload slides to PathoNet, you need:

Pannoramic Viewer by 3DHISCHTECH Ltd., with the Teleconsultation module. Storage space in your PathoNet account.
To upload a digital slide to PathoNet

Open the Slide in Pannoramic Viewer.

Start the Teleconsultation module in Pannoramic Viewer, enter www.pathonet.org as the server address and upload the slide from your computer to PathoNet.

Editing slides
To edit the slide properties

Select My account / Edit slide data.

You can edit the following information about an uploaded slide:

Title
-
Description
-
Organ
-
Staining
-
Status (Private/Public)

Uploading non-dynamic images
If you do not have the possibility of uploading the dynamic digital slide, you can upload its regular digital image. Pannoramic Viewer is not needed for viewing the static snapshots of a slide.

Working with cases at PathoNet
Creating a case

Select My account / Create new case.
Attaching a slide to a cases

Select the slide(s) in My account / My Unassigned Slides and then click Go.

Commenting on cases
If you are logged in to PathoNet, you can make comments on public cases. You can later edit or delete your comments.
